The Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) has released exciting details about the revamped Nations Cup League, marking a new chapter in its rich tradition.
The FEI has outlined its plan for the Nations Cup world circuit in the 2024 season, which has evolved into a new phase called the Nations League. This revamped program will consist of only four competitions, followed by the grand final in Barcelona, marking an exciting change in the dynamics of the competition.
The League of Nations journey will take competitors through four countries spread across different continents: United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi), United States (Ocala), Switzerland (Sant Gallen) and the Netherlands (Rotterdam), culminating with the highly anticipated final in Barcelona on October 6.
Among the notable innovations, the Nations League will be closed to the top ten countries according to the FEI ranking. In addition, an adjustment in the team structure will be introduced, with four pairs competing in the first leg and three in the second, adding a strategic and exciting element to the competition.
