Daniel Deusser triumphs in the Rolex Grand Prix at the CHIO Aachen 2021

With this victory the showjumper Daniel Deusser begins his personal Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping journey. This is his first Major victory as he has never won in Aachen, the CHI Geneve, the Spruce Meadows Masters or at The Dutch Masters before. Now Daniel Deusser will try to win the CHI Geneva from the 9th to the 12th of December. 

With Killer Queen, Daniel Deusser has made it to the winners’ board of the World Equestrian Festival CHIO Aachen. He stopped the clock at 41.85 seconds. One rider after another tried to beat this time, but they were unsuccessful. 

Gregory Wathelet and Nevados S came really close with 42.83 seconds. Other riders like Ben Maher or Laura Kraut came close but after knocking poles their victory faded away. 


Farewell to Toutou

After a big applause and standing ovations, Marcus Ehning and Pret A Tout gave their farewell at the Aachen Soers as the horse retired from competition. The gelding was 12 years old when he met Marcus Ehning in 2015. Before then he had helped Kaya Lüthi to make it to the top competition level. 

Lüthi had won silver at the European Championships of the Young Riders with him three times. Under Marcus Ehning, Pret A Tout became a star. Together they won in 2016, 2017 and 2018 the Mercedes-Benz Nations Cup, the Rolex Grand Prix in CHIO Aachen and CHI Geneva 2018. Now he is ready to retire. 


Olivier Robert secured his second win at Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Italy

With Vangog du Mas Garnier, Olivier Robert won the gold medal and flew to the first position of the podium followed by Malin Baryard-Johnsson with H&M Indiana. Bronze was for Bryan Balsiger with Twentytwo des Biches. 

For the first time in history with just two stages of the 2021 season to go, Ben Maher and Olivier Robert are joint leaders on 228 points, knocking Edwina Tops-Alexander off the top position. Tops-Alexander now sits six points behind on 222 points. 


Valkenswaard United settles their place at the top of the Global Champions League

Peder Fredricson and Edwina Tops-Alexander managed pressure in the GCL of Rome and moved into the top spot after flawless rounds onboard H&M All In and Fellow Castlefield. The Scandinavian Vikings secured second place while the New York Empire finished third. 

Only 7 points separated the top three teams: Valkenswaard United, Shanghai Swans and Paris Panthers. Now, Valkenswaard United has a 21 point margin on the Shanghai Swans. Three points behind, Paris Panthers are still in the game and getting ready for Samorin. 


Winners in the polo French Open 2021 

The Open de France Engel & Völkers championship has final winners as La Magdeleine finished in first place during the competition. The best player pro went to Facundo Llorente while the best amateur player was for Sébastien Aguettant. 

Similarly the Castel Trophy 2021 was won by Interface Concept and Polo Park Zürich has won the 10th Open de France Femenin against DS Automobile - DS Store Saint Maximin. This marks the end of the Open de France 2021 competition that will resume competition in Autumn.
