Prague Playoffs 2023

This weekend the 2023 Playoffs of the Longines Global Champions Tour and Global Champions League took place. In this prestigious event, the world's elite riders and their magnificent steeds compete for equestrian supremacy, specifically 16 of the best riders in the world. More than a tournament, it is a spectacle of skill, elegance and determination.

Nearly 14,000 spectators attended the magnificent and brilliant victory of Frenchman Julien Epaillard, a victory that crowns his very great season. "Tonight was incredible, there is a special atmosphere, today is a special victory for me. I wasn't sure I could stay in the lead, it was incredible," said Epaillard after his victory, which brings his total to five Grand Prix wins.

The podium of the Prague Super Grand Prix was completed by Henrik von Eckermann and "King Edward"; and Max Kühner and "Up Too Jacco Blue", in second and third place respectively.

As far as the Global Champions League is concerned, the victory went to the German team Riesenbeck International, becoming the first team to win both the regular season and the super cup. Crowning their impressive regular season in which they have achieved five wins and eight podium finishes. Second place went to Valskenwaard United and third place to Paris Panthers.
